Expression of Interest

 

To facilitate the availability of infrastructure in form of building, plant and machinery required for production of handicraft objects, proposals are invited from the eligible exporters/entrepreneurs, etc. having turnover/sale Rs. 20.00 lakhs in the last financial year for establishment of new Facility Centre under Private Public Partnership on Build Own Operate (BOO) basis.

 

Exporters should preferably be registered with CEPC/EPCH.

 

Government of India will provide only 40% of the total value of project  subject to the maximum of Rs. 16.00 lakhs.

Establishment of Facility Centre for Exporters/Entrepreneures under baba Saheb Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana

 

Introduction

 

Establishment of facility centre for exporters/entrepreneurs etc under Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hastashilp Vikas Yojana in order to augment export of handicrafts production in particular and standardize large-scale quality production of handicrafts objects in general.

 

Objective

 

To attract private investment in the sector through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode on Build Own Operate  (BOO) modal. The ownership of assets created under this component of this facilities centre will be that of entrepreneurs/exporters

 

Financial Pattern

 

The financial pattern is based on 40:60 sharing between Government of India through Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) and exporters/entrepreneurs respectively.  The total financial ceiling for a project for setting up new facility centre will be Rs. 60.00 lakhs out of which Rs. 24.00 lakhs will be the share of Government of India as per the parameters given below :

An MOU between exporters/entrepreneurs and Government of India will be signed before released of funds.
